TEEN / ADULT HIP HOP DANCE

Ages: 13 - Adult
Dates: October 1 – December 12
January 7 – March 13
Days: Wednesday
Place: Worton Arena
Time: 7 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Cost: $50 per 8 week session or
$80 for both sessions

This is the perfect opportunity to learn today’s latest hip hop moves while getting a fun exercise workout at the same time. Classes are instructed by Tasha Swinson. A minimum of 8 participants is required. The 10-week class will culminate with a Friday evening showcase of skills.

KENT COUNTY YOUTH 2 YOUTH AND
POST PROM STEERING COMMITTEE

Kent County Youth 2 Youth is an exciting youth driven substance abuse prevention club for high school students, staff, parents, and members of various community organizations
dedicated to creating fun, safe, drug-and-alcoholfree events and alternative activities.

As a student member of this committee you will have the opportunity to be a voice for your peers in the planning and fund raising for the
KCHS Post Prom Party as well as other community events.

SUNDAY SKATING PARTIES

To arrange a birthday party during the public skating session (Sundays, December – March), reservations must be made at least one week prior to the date requested. Walk-in parties will not be permitted.

BEGINNER BALLROOM DANCE

Ages: Teen – Adult
Days: Thursdays
Time: 7:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Dates: September 11 - October 30
February 5 - March 26
Place: Worton Arena
Cost: $50 per couple per 8 week session

Let’s Dance! Our instructors continue to pack the house for dance lessons! American Style ballroom dancing that is painless exercise and fun. Ballroom dancing has grown in popularity because of current television dance programs.

Not just for the more mature adult, the class promises to interest even the youngest adult students. Dances include the Fox Trot, Eastern Swing, Waltz, Rumba, Cha Cha, Tango, and maybe even a Polka. Bring a group or just a pair.

INTERMEDIATE BALLROOM DANCE

Ages: Teen – Adult
Days: Sunday
Time: 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Dates: September 14 - November 2
Place: Worton Arena
Cost: $50 per couple per 8 week session

For the experienced ballroom dancer, this class expands on dances learned at the beginner level. Students should have previously taken 2-3 full sessions at the beginner level as a prerequisite.

ROLLERSKATING

Ages: All Ages
Dates: December 7- March 29 (closed December 28)
Days: Sunday
Time: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Place: Worton Arena
Cost: $1 per skater
(Must provide own skates)

Lace up those skates or roller blades for a fun afternoon of skating at Worton Arena. All participants must provide their own skates. Children ages 8 and under must be supervised by an adult. No scooters or skateboards permitted.
