Worton Arena: Originally built as a roller rink, and still features skating on Sundays during the winter, this indoor recreation facility is available for group rentals. Tables, chairs, small kitchen area, restrooms and electric are available to renters.

Worton Park: A pavilion located in the heart of the 72 acre park includes approximately 10 picnic tables, a couple grills, water and electric. Restroom facilities are right across the street from the pavilion. The park also features numerous ballfields, equestrian rings, and tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts.

Turner’s Creek Park: The picnic pavilion includes barbeque grills, electric, water, approximately 12 picnic tables, and a volleyball court. Restroom facilities are located in the basement of the historic Lathim House (built in the early 1800’s). Other park attractions include miles of nature trails, a waterfront bluff overlooking Turner’s Creek on the Sassafras River, an abundance of waterfowl and wildlife, and a famous historic tree grove.

Betterton Beach : A small pavilion overlooking the beach and Chesapeake Bay includes approximately 8 picnic tables and a grill. Grilling is only permitted in the pavilion area, not on the beach. There are restroom facilities just off to the side of the beach.

Toal Park: Located on Route 213 just outside of Galena, Toal Park offers a small pavilion, with approximately 8 picnic tables and 2 grills, perfect for intimate family gatherings.

Edesville Community Park: Features a picnic pavilion/building including electric, water, grill, and approximately 8 picnic tables. The park also features a ball field, volleyball court, playground and walking trail.

Pools
Bayside: The newest of the County’s parks and public landings, Bayside Landing Park is located off of Bayside Avenue in Rock Hall and is centered along the Rock Hall Harbor. The park offers a public swimming pool (open Tuesday through Sunday, Noon - 7 p.m. from Memorial Day to Labor Day), public restroom facilities, deep water and dual boat ramps which provide direct access to the Chesapeake Bay.

There are 39 boat slips available for rental through the County Public Landings office
410-778-7439. A walkway joins the park and the public bulkhead which hosts various special events throughout the year. Rentals will include exclusive use of the pool outside normal operating hours and includes lifeguards.

Millington Pool: Kent County Parks and Recreation is proud of its public swim center with a pool, bathhouse, tennis courts and picnic area. The pool is open Tuesday through Sunday, Noon – 7 p.m. from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Swimming lessons are available as well as group rentals. We are pleased to offer American Red Cross (ARC) swim lessons led by an ARC certified Water Safety Instructor.  A skills test will be scheduled when registration is received.
