SUMMER LEADERS CLUB

Ages:	Entering grades 7-9
Dates:	July 5-August 11
Days:	Monday-Thursday
Times:	8:30 am-5 pm
Place:	Kent County Middle School
Cost:	$200 for the entire summer (6 weeks)
Registration begins April 1

Leaders Club is a program that embarks on utilizing a peer pressure approach by focusing on positive peer influences in a variety of educational, physically challenging, recreational, and service learning type activities. Positive peer pressure influences teens to channel negative behavior into more positive and beneficial pursuits. This also helps to develop and enhance self-esteem, decision making, and problem sloving skills.

Cost:	Free for Facility Access Card Holders

School's over, but you're not ready to go home yet? Come to the Community Center for some open gym time and bring your friends! This is a great opportunity to come relax after the school day, get your homework done, and hang out with friends in a safe environment.

SUMMER SWIMMING LESSONS

Dates:	Session 1: June 2, 9, 16, and 23 Session 2: June 18-28
Days:	Saturday (Session 1) Monday - Thursday (Session 2)
Time:	10:20-11:35 am (Session 1) 10:45 -11:40 am (Session 2)
Place:	Kent County Community Center
Cost:	$35 per swimmer per session
Registration begins April 1

We are pleased to offer American Red Cross (ARC) swim lessons led by an ARC certified Water Safety Instructor.  A skills test will be scheduled when registration is received.
