All programs at the Kent County Community Center require a Facility Access Card for patrons twelve (12) years of age and older. To mail–in or drop off a registration form, please download the registration form here. (unless there is a registration form listed with a specific activity)

Inclement Weather Announcement Policies

Weather closing information and general announcements are posted on the Kent County Community Center Facebook Page and our Rainout Line at 410-429-1401 or visit https://rainoutline.com/search/dnis/4104291401 (usually no later than 7:30 am or 3 pm for evening programs the day in question when weather related).

Weather announcements for the School Year (September - May):

  • If Kent County Public Schools (KCPS) are closed, close early, or cancel evening programs, all public-school site programs are closed.
  • Kent County Parks and Recreation (KCPR) youth programs at the Kent County Community Center (KCCC) and KCPR facilities are closed when county facilities remain open.
  • KCPR adult programs at county facilities will be open if county facilities remain open.
  • These policies may not apply to programs by private vendors at the Community Center, as they decide on their schedules when the center remains open during inclement weather.
  • All programs are closed during Snow Emergency or State of Emergency Plans, but evening programs may open if lifted by 2 pm. Programs may be canceled based on various factors on a case-by-case basis.
