The Story Walk at Worton Park is a delightful self-guided experience designed for families. As you stroll along the walking trail in the park, you will encounter beautifully illustrated storybook pages that bring a captivating tale to life. Perfect for children and adults alike, this activity encourages a love of reading and exploration in a picturesque outdoor setting.

Beach Tennis is one of the world's fastest growing sports, derived from a hybrid of beach volleyball and tennis with some badminton influence. Driver will be following the direction of the NYC Police Department. Please be ready to board the bus no later than 6:00 pm. The driver will only have a few minutes for the pick-up. Bus departs at 6:15 pm. Bus will return to Worton around 10:45 pm.

Santa has asked KCPR to help him this holiday season by collecting letters. Letters to Santa can be sent via USPS to the address below or dropped off in our North Pole mailbox located at the Kent County Community Center. We will forward the letters to the North Pole for a response from Santa himself! Letters must include: Child's first and last name as well as their full return mailing address.

Join us for an afternoon of fall family fun with Pumpkins, Apple Cider, Corn Maze, Food, Games, and Hay Rides!
Free pumpkin, apple cider, and ice cream for the first 150 children.
♦ Parental Supervision is required on all trips for children under 18 years of age.
♦ Reservations accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
♦ Payment is accepted in the form of cash (exact amount), check or money order only. Payments may be made in person at the Parks and Recreation office located at 11041 Worton Road, Worton, MD or by mail to KCPR, Attn: Trips, P.O. Box 67, Worton, MD 21678.
♦ Refunds will not be issued unless we are able to resell your tickets to another individual (preference is given to those on an official waiting list), or the trip is canceled and cannot be rescheduled. Refunds are subject to $10 processing fee and may take up to three weeks to process.
♦ All prices include chartered coach line transportation (unless notified otherwise) with restroom on bus. Meals not included in cost of trip unless specified.
♦ Departure for all trips will be from the Kent County Community Center in Worton. All return times are approximate.
♦ Kent County Parks and Recreation reserves the right to cancel any trip that does not meet the minimum reservation guidelines set forth by this department. Full refund issued if trip is cancelled.

Dog owners (aged 18+) are invited to bring their four-legged pals for a dip in the Kent County Community Center Pool after a long hot summer. Canine participants must be at least six-months-old, have proof of current vaccinations, and remain leashed when not in the pool. No pre-registration required.

Join KCPR at Turner's Creek Park for a fun-filled outdoor program. Participants will go on a brief hike to collect supplies to make their own natural bird feeder.
